Black Cod

The black cod (Anoplopoma fimbria) is the jewel of the pristine Alaskan seas.
The black cod swims free in the cold waters of the Pacific Ocean, in the Bering Sea to the Alaskan coast.
It lives in very deep waters, from 300 metres down.
Its fishing is environmentally sustainable because it is done by hook (longline fishing).

The product is presented whole (headed and gutted).
