Cod

The term cod is used to identify salted and cured cod (Gadus macrocephalus or Gadus morhua). G. macrocephalus is fished in the North Pacific Ocean while G. morhua in the North Atlantic Ocean.
Aloia Foods’ cod is processed from both frozen on board cod and fresh cod, the fishery is mainly hook-and-line. Producers with whom we have business relationships are located in: Denmark, Faroe Islands, Norway and Iceland.
